2021-2022 School Year

Planning has begun for the 2021-2022 school year. Our goal is to return to school five days a week, all day, with mitigation strategies. For more information, please see the infographic.

Registration Info for all Students for 2021-22

Forest Middle School Registration for the 2021-2022 school year will be open on or about June 1st.   All Students Need to complete this information.

Returning Bedford County students will receive the Infosnap login and password in the mail and should log in as a returning student. Click here for link

New students who are registering will go under New Student to register on the Bedford County Public Schools home page. Once you have completed the online registration email Lisa Phillips at (lphillips@bedford.k12.va.us) for the registration forms packet to complete the registration process.  Forms will be emailed back to you to complete and need to be emailed back to Ms. Phillips as soon as possible to get your child enrolled.  If you do not have access to print off the forms you may pick up a packet from the front office.   

You will need to bring in the child’s Original birth certificate, proof of your residency with either a rental agreement or a mortgage statement (NO bills will be accepted) for proof of residency, all immunizations and a current Virginia physical (NO sport physical will be accepted) any legal documents (court orders or custody papers) if any.  Forms will be signed for FMS to receive all school records from the child’s former school during the registration process.



Bedford County Public Schools still remains closed to the public, but essential appointments can be made by calling your child's school.

The National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) has developed a parent resource on how to talk about COVID-19 with your child. The CDC provides daily updates and health-related guidance in regards to COVID-19 if further information is needed for your family.
