Please remember the importance of good sportsmanship as players and spectators. Below is a message on the VHSL site to keep in mind as we play and support our FMS athletes:
GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP IS A TOP PRIORITY OF THE VIRGINIA HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUE.
THE MANNER IN WHICH YOUR SCHOOL IS REPRESENTED IS FAR MORE IMPORTANT THAN WINS AND LOSSES. CHEER FOR YOUR TEAM, BUT RESPECT THE OTHER TEAM, FANS AND GAME OFFICIALS. GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP IS ALL ABOUT RESPECT.
WIN WITH HUMILITY, LOSE WITH GRACE AND DO BOTH WITH DIGNITY.
SO CONDUCT YOURSELF AS A TRUE SPORTSMAN, ENCOURAGING THROUGH YOUR BEHAVIOR THE PRACTICE OF GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP TO OTHERS.

Cavalier Family and Friends: Please be prepared to purchase a ticket for everyone in your party at home and away games. Schools may have different ticket prices set by their school or county. In BCPS students beginning in Kindergarten must purchase a ticket. Punch cards are a great way to save on the cost of ticket prices but are only accepted at FMS events.
Please treat the ticket takers with kindness and respect regardless of whether or not you agree with the need to purchase a ticket. The funds collected at the gate help to pay for officials and items we need for our teams. Let's Go Cavaliers!!
Due to safety and supervisory concerns, all students in grades PreK through 8 must be accompanied by an adult for entrance to all BCPS athletic events.

Price: $40
Can purchase multiple cards
One punch is good for one event admission
May be used for multiple admissions at the same event.
Example, if you bring five to an event the ticket taker would punch your card five times.
Can be used at FMS home events only
Can be used through halftime of FMS football games with a JV football game to follow. After halftime only JFHS punch cards will be accepted (in addition to the regular cash or GoFan admission)

For the Athlete:
Forest Middle School sports are open to all 6th, 7th and 8th grade FMS students. In order to participate in athletic activities such as open gyms, conditioning, and try outs you must have a current VHSL physical. The VHSL physical form can be found in the FMS main office or on the VHSL website by clicking the link below:
Athletes must have a current VHSL physical on file before participating in any open gym/conditioning or tryouts. Be sure you use the updated form above.
Ticket Prices:
Seminole District games (high school): $8
Middle school games at FMS: $5
Middle school games at JF played before JV games (ie: football games): $8
