6/22/20 - There was an error on report cards for students with grade changes.  The error has been corrected and new report cards are being mailed to the affected students.  If you have questions, please contact the main office at 434-525-6630.  Counselors are not in charge of report cards and are not able to provide updated copies via email.  Thank you!


**If you need to talk to a counselor regarding scheduling for the 20-21 school year, please email Ms. Gilley at kgilley@bedford.12.va.us.  She is the only counselor working in the summer (until approximately August 6, 2020).  Thank you!

2020 BCPS Credit-Bearing Summer Session registration is NOW OPEN!  Deadline to enroll/pay is June 22!

- This is for high school credit courses such as Health/PE 9, Algebra I, Earth Science, and World History

- The fee for a new class is $300 (online payment preferred)

- There is no cost for a Credit Recovery class (for students who failed the first semester)

- Students must have access to reliable internet as courses are completed online.

Guidance Office Hours:

Mrs. Becker & Ms. Gilley work at FMS Monday-Friday, 8:30-4:00.

Ms. Waldmann is at FMS Monday-Wednesday.  She is at Otter River Elementary School when she is not at FMS.

6th grade students and parents who need to speak with a counselor when Ms. Waldmann is away from FMS can contact Mrs. Becker (last names A-K) or Ms. Gilley (last names L-Z).  You may also opt to leave a note or email for Ms. Waldmann to receive on her next assigned day at FMS.

To reach any counselor by phone, please call the FMS main number, (434) 525-6630.  We are in and out of our offices throughout the day, so we will respond to messages as soon as possible.
