All Forest Middle School students will be participating in the Fitnessgram physical fitness tests in August. We will also be entering the height and weight of each student into the Welnet database. All students' BMI will be automatically calculated and available to each parent online.  To help prepare them for these tests please encourage your student to be active even on their non-physical education days and especially on the weekends.

Parents can access student physical fitness scores online by going to www.focusedfitness.org. Once there, click on WELNET Login at the top of the page, use your student's ID number as the username and last name as the password.

Family Life Education will take place in the spring - typically the week before spring break. Opt-out forms will go home as we approach that time. There is a copy of the FLE materials in the FMS office for review. You can also visit the BCPS website, select the Parents & Students tab, then select Family Life Education and you will be redirected to the FLE SOLs on the DOE website. Use this link to take you directly to the PDF: http://www.doe.virginia.gov/testing/sol/standards_docs/family_life/familylife_guidelines_standards.pdf
