****Science Fair projects (Step 1) is due 1/11/18. ( Pushed it back 2 days due to snow days)  

Wednesday (1/10) - Study your Lesson 5 notes in your binder (also on Google Classroom).

Thursday (1/11) -  Study your Lesson 5 notes and the Study Guide in your binder (also on Google Classroom).  Quiz on 1/17 and Test on 1/23.

Friday (1/12) - Study your Lesson 5 notes and the Study Guide in your binder (also on Google Classroom).  Quiz on 1/17 and Test on 1/23.

Monday (1/15) -   No School!  Study your Lesson 5 notes and the Study Guide in your binder (also on Google Classroom).  Quiz on 1/17 and Test on 1/23.

Tuesday (1/16) -  Study your Lesson 5 notes and the Study Guide in your binder (also on Google classroom).  Quiz tomorrow.  Test on January 1/23.

Wednesday (1/17) -  Genetics quiz today.  Study the study guide for the Test on 1/23.  (Also on Google Classroom)

Thursday (1/18) - Study the study guide for the Test on January 23rd.  (Also on Google Classroom)

Friday (1/19) -   Study the study guide for the Test on January 23rd.  (Also on Google Classroom)

Monday (1/22)  - Study the study guide for tomorrow's Genetics Test.  (Also on Google Classroom)

Tuesday (1/23) - Genetics Test today!  I know you will do great!!!!  :)  Finish Dog-Gone Activity if you haven't finished it in class.




Welcome to 6th grade Life Science.  I am looking forward to meeting all of you.  :) This year you will need the following supplies for Science class.

(1) Small 3-ring binder (You can share with another class if you prefer to use one big binder for all your classes.)

(2)Three dividers labeled WARM-UP, DAILY WORK, and VOCABULARY. These can be placed in the binder. 

(3)  Loose-leaf paper

(4)  Glue stick
 
(5)  Colored pencils

(6)  Highlighter (any color, fat or thin)

(7)  Pencils 

(8)  A POSITIVE ATTITUDE!!!!!!

****A consumable textbook will be given to each student and it should remain in the student's locker.  It should only be taken home on the occasional instances of homework from the textbook.  

Exploratory:

Exploratory is a class where you are graded on class participation.  We will be engaged in Personalized Learning Activities.  I am excited about our first unit.  :)  You will need 1 two-pocket folder with fasteners, colored pencils/markers, and a pencil.
