Life Science:

Weeks 4/6/20-5/29/20:

Hey everyone.  I pray you all are staying healthy and safe.  :)  As you know, you have all joined our Life Science Extended Learning page at this time.  This is where you will go to every Friday in order to get the new Learning Opportunities for the following week (except for Spring Break).  After seeing what the opportunies are on the Extended Learning page, you can complete them on your regular Science GC page and submit them for feedback.   Also, feel free to join me and your fellow students on Tuesday's at 10 AM on Google Meet for a time of asking questions or getting clarification.  I will post a code for you to join that "meeting" on Tuesday mornings around 9:30 on your regular Science GC page.  If it is full, don't worry, we can always add another date/time.  As always, email me with any concerns or questions.   And remember what I said in the video - DON"T STRESS OUT!!!  We are all just going to do our best in this situation and that includes me too.  Miss you and "see" you soon.

Welcome to 6th grade Life Science.  I am looking forward to meeting all of you. :)  This year you will need the following supplies for Science class.

(1) Small 3-ring binder (You can share with another class if you prefer to use one big binder for all your classes.)

(2)Three dividers labeled WARM-UPS, TABLE OF CONTENTS, and VOCABULARY. These can be placed in the binder.

(3)  Loose-leaf paper

(4)  Glue stick
(5)  Colored pencils, markers, or crayons

(6)  Highlighter (any color, fat or thin)

(7)  Pencils

****A consumable textbook will be given to each student and it should remain in our classroom.  It should only be taken home on the occasional instances of homework from the textbook.

Exploratory is a class where you are graded on class participation.  We will be engaged in Personalized Learning Activities.  I am excited about our first unit.  :)  You will need only colored pencils or markers and a pencil.
