     Art at Forest Middle School is an amazing experience of creative exploration and technical skill. Students will create various works of art using the Elements and Principles of Design as a foundation for artistic advancement and knowledge.

Students in 6th and 7th grade Art will focus on the following Elements while producing several involved art projects:


Students will complete an interactive SKETCHBOOK encompassing knowledge of the Elements of Design as well as specific movements, styles and icons involved in the history of the world art. Students are also exposed to various core subjects such as reading, mathmatics, history and science during their art education experience at FMS.
Students are currently working on a project involving two-point perspective, color theory, value and an impressionist inspired technique.
